The ketchup is getting very sleepy…
You don’t need a wand and fancy cape to perform a seriously impressive magic trick. In fact, for Enchanted Ketchup all you need is a water bottle and ketchup packet, although mustard or relish will do just as nicely.
You will need:
- a large plastic bottle
- a condiment packet
- a magician’s little helper
Enchanted ketchup
Step 1
Place ketchup packet into the bottle. Make sure the packet is almost entirely covered by the water.
Step 2
Call your little helper to hypnotise the ketchup. You read that right.
Step 3
Draw a lot of attention to your pointing finger and away from your other hand. Then, slowly squeeze the bottle. When the packet starts to drop move your finger, as if with great effort. Remember – you’re controlling the packet!
Step 4
When it hits the bottom, slowly release the bottle to send it back up. (With a little practice you can freeze the packet mid-bottle.)
